Texas Soccer back on the Rise

With the loss of such a great man as Uche Okafor, North Texas never seemed to recover from the loss as everyone expected. Okafor was a part of the Nigerian team in ’94 and had many achievements under his belt. Okafor died at the age of 43 by suicide. No one thought it would happen and it took the team by surprise. When it happened it was as if Texas FC dropped off the map but with the latest win against Galaxy the team seems to be back on the Rise. Will this spell out a new dawn in the Texas FC or will they be Safe From the Start due to their undying spirit?

With a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Galaxy the team seems to be back. They hadn’t played a game since 2010 before that and had seemed to be downtrodden due to the death of a teammate. If they are back, however, then the real question is how far will they go? We are all rooting them on here in Texas and we hope they can get over the past years slump and achieve fame again. We encourage all the fans to show them their support when the next game is announced and hope they have a great season.
